Live in the repos:

Code:
[23:24:21 [email protected]:~] yum list ea-apache24.\*
Installed Packages
ea-apache24.x86_64 2.4.52-1.1.3.cpanel @EA4

Available Packages
ea-apache24.x86_64 2.4.52-2.2.1.cpanel EA4
Update EasyApacheUpdate via WHM or CLI:

Code:
[23:26:43 [email protected]:~] httpd -v
Server version: Apache/2.4.52 (cPanel)
Server built: Dec 30 2021 14:32:42
No patch level indication on the version string, but, I'm sure a minor will be forthcoming.

Thanks cPanel for getting on this.

The Apache version won't change until The Apache Software Foundation officially adds the patch into the next Apache release.

Presumably, cPanel just took the patch mention in the 65769 ASF bug report and applied it to their own in house Apache RPMs.

I think it might be a good idea if cPanel would notarize their EasyApache changelogs - EasyApache 4 Change Log 2021 | cPanel & WHM Documentation - so that the ea-apche2 referred to as:

EA-10391: Add patch to fix instability issues with Apache v2.4.52

Would notarize as ea-apache2-2.4.52-2.2.1.cpanel

I have been asking the folks at CloudLinux via ticket. On 1 Jan 2022 they said:
> We already have a task in order to fix this issue, the task ID - EA4D-318.

And on 5 Jan 2022 they said:
> When the package is released, the news will appear on our blog: СloudLinux Blog | EasyApache 4

So I guess we keep waiting.

It does look like we're still waiting on CloudLinux. I'm not sure on an ETA from them, but they likely understand it's important to get resolved as soon as possible.
Since we're going on 18 days of this I'm starting to wonder how important they consider this. It's getting very old restarting apache all the time.

CloudLinux released an Apache update which will fix this issue. It will be rolled out gradually by 25th of Jan but the queue can be bypassed with the following command for an immediate update:

yum update ea-apache24 ea-apache24-mod_security2 --enablerepo=cloudlinux-ea4-rollout-9-bypass

Same here :-( ,

Once i did the yum downgrade ea-apache24* , should i disable the daily cpanel automatic updates to keep the apache in the correct version ?

Thanks!
