When I do a ps aux |grep yum I get
    root 13585 0.0 0.6 11392 6756 ? S Oct27 0:00 /usr/bin/python /usr/bin/yum -y install freetype freetype-devel

And I see that it's allways running, and now I can't update mysql to version 4, I get a error message telling theree i a yum process running
Is ti sure to kill yum process?

    Thanks

    Go on, have a guess
You can kill it off. This can happen if yum has problems connecting to the repository that you have configured, or it can happen if your rpm database is locked. If it's the former, killing it off is all you need to do. If it happens again straight away, it could well be the latter problem, in which case a reboot is the simplest way to fix it.
