Apache is down. The CPU is at 650.00

When I try to restart apache i get this message

The Server Returned an Invalid Response! at /scripts/restartsrv line 226, line 72682

I tried to reboot it and it does not let me reboot. It looks like it's rebooting but it's really not.

The server is about to fry! Any ideas?

I have no real idea... are you able to look in logs.......? What you gave us isn't a real good outlook of what really happened.. hard to tell. :(

Can you even do a ps ?

Ok, i don't think apache is going to start with a 650 load.. you might want to determin the cause of that load before you do anything else, because your just wasting your time.

Hate to say it but maybe do a hard reboot to give you enuegh time to check our logs once it's back up.
