Hi there,

How do I delete a remote mysql host? Set one up accidentally and now I can't delete.

Thanks!

If you did this in the WHM interface, simply go to WHM -> SQL Services -> Additional MySQL Access Hosts and delete the line containing the remote host you do not wish to have connecting to your server.

If you did this in the cPanel interface, simply go to your cPanel interface and in the "Databases" section click on "Remote MySQL." On the page that appears, click the red "x" next to the host you wish to remove.

If you meant to say you set up a remote MySQL server and now want to move that back to localhost, please let me know.

Yes to your last question :)
Actually, all you need to do to undo that is go to WHM -> SQL Services -> Setup Remote MySQL server and set Remote server address (IP address or FQDN): to localhost, ignore the rest of the settings and click Setup to use your local MySQL server once again.

Hi, I just found that topic a minute ago.

I would also need the option to remove the remote mysql icon within cpanel.

Is there already a solution?
