I would like to use Ansible on around 4-5 running WHM/cpanel servers for updating purposes. I have used Ansible already but only on some VMs in my own homelab.

Is there anything I need to know specifically when doing this with WHM servers as I dont want to break something.

    thanks

    Hello David,

The following thread includes discussion of Ansible from other cPanel customers that you may find helpful:

    Ansible Bootstraping

Additionally, I encourage you to vote for the following feature request if it's something that interests you:

While we can't offer direct support for Ansible itself, let me know if you have any specific questions about cPanel & WHM configuration files or API functions that you may need to interact with as part of the setup.

    Thank you.
