    Hi

A strange issue for one of our cpanel users.

The total used bandwidth in the summary page contains entries with invalid years. (Se attached image)

From which file can these invalid entries be removed?

Is this a custom style or RVskin? What version of cPanel is that server running?

The theme is an RVSkin theme, nothing customized about the theme
    WHM is 11.28.64.

I don't see how the theme should play a part in this.

Just to clarify, if one scrolls down (did not take a screen-shot of the correct ones) there are valid bandwidth entries for each month, its just those on the top that show the incorrect year.

RVskin comes up over and over on the forums with these sorts of issues and has a lot to do with how the cPanel interface is presented to you. You might try switching back to the cPanel default theme and see how this area is displayed for you to confirm if it is a problem with RVskin or not. You might also like to check into this on the RVskin forums for others with the same issue.

I'm leaning in that direction on this.

    Hi

Just checked by changing the theme to X3 still the same invalid years. So its not the RVSkin theme.

The following perl error is given in X3 and other themes when one click in and day in the incorrect year

    Can't handle date (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 397233025) at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/Bandwidth.pm line 466
    Carp::croak('Can\'t handle date (0, 0, 0, 1, 0, 397233025)') called at /usr/local/cpanel/perl/Time/Local.pm line 120

Which is understandable since it is an incorrect year

If you've forced a cPanel update to see if that helps this and it hasn't, its time for a Bug Report: http://go.cpanel.net/bugs :)

    Good Luck!

I don't think a cpanel update will fix the issue, that is why i am wondering from which file the bandwidth history stats are generated. To see if manual edit will remove the faulty entries for that account. No other accounts are effected

    Anyone?

The bandwidth reports come from /var/cpanel/bandwidth location and appear as the username as well as domain name plus .rrd files associated with the username. You might want to compare the data that user's bandwidth details have in comparison to all other users.

If you cannot get it working, I highly suggest opening up a ticket in WHM > Support Center > Contact cPanel or using the link in my signature, since our technical support is free of cost for any valid cPanel license-holder.

If you do end up opening a ticket, please post the ticket number here.
