Using the interface User Manager > Edit User
When changing any setting in Basic Information or Services, The save button keep disabled so no way to apply the changes.
The workaround is to change the password. This is not acceptable as the sub-account may already changed the password for his preference and as a cpanel admin i do not want to re-change it.

HI @esaesa

Are you indicating that you're unable to make modifications in the user manager unless you change the user's password? That shouldn't be the case - testing with some users in the user manager I'm not able to replicate this behavior.

Hi @esaesa

Thanks for providing the screenshots, nothing you're doing there looks abnormal but I'm using the same version of cPanel with the Same version of chrome Version 70.0.3538.77 (Official Build) (64-bit) but using a mac though that shouldn't make a difference in this case.
Can you please open a ticket using the link in my signature? Once open please reply with the Ticket ID here so that we can update this thread with the resolution once the ticket is resolved.

Thanks!

I got the feedback.

The ***** asterisks in the password should not be there. It is filled by autocomplete plugin. The form waiting for confirmation. So any changes will not be valid unless all the form is validated.

I suggested to add some hints about why the form validation fail.

Thanks
