We have a problem with one of the accounts. the link to "Create" User Level Filtering under that client account does not exist (the link exists for other accounts on the same server).

The domain was setup with special theme. When using the special theme, I can see the user level filtering link, but it would fail with: "No rule name was entered".

So I switched it to x3 default theme like the other accounts. However, now the account no longer shows the "Modify" or "Create Filter" under the User Level Filtering.

There are no errors in the /var/log/cpanel/error_log , and I'm not seeing anything out of the oridnary with this setup. What could be preventing User Level Filtering button from working. (Account Level Filter button works fine)

Thanks

Does this account also use a specific Feature List for it's Package, different from the other accounts Feature set?

In the Feature Manager is this item: Email Filtering Manager

If disabled in Feature Manager, the icon in cPanel for User Level Filtering is not shown. If the special theme used is not coded properly, it might be still showing the icon/option, but it might not work properly.

I'm guessing here, of course.

Yes, the feature manager option for User Level Filtering is enabled.

I can see the icon in cPanel and click on it, it will list the email addresses, but the field to create or delete filters is not available (attached screenshot).

This is now the default x3 theme. Another problem on this same account that once I add a POP3 email address, there is no option to delete it!!

It seems all options for this domain are not working right, is there a file to check what could be wrong?

Thanks

This sounds like some sort of browser cache issue to me. You might try clearing your cache, or even try another browser just to see if you get the same result. If you have root access you might also try forcing a cPanel update to see if that clears this up.

Thanks for the help, but I tried a different browser and it is still the same. However, your tip helped with a different problem relating to RVSite Builder :).

I'm suspecting there is something messed up in this account theme config (even though it is the default theme and works fine on other accounts, or settings). Any tips on where could go abotu checking that?
