Hi,

After a user tries to submit a password reset request he is redirected to a blank page. Here is the output from /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log
Code:
[2016-05-05 09:51:07 +0200] warn [resetpass] Error parsing resetpass template: file error - templates/resetpass_puzzle: not found at base/resetpass.cgi.pl line 1289.
    base::resetpass::render_template(__CPANEL_HIDDEN__, __CPANEL_HIDDEN__, __CPANEL_HIDDEN__, __CPANEL_HIDDEN__, __CPANEL_HIDDEN__, __CPANEL_HIDDEN__, __CPANEL_HIDDEN__, __CPANEL_HIDDEN__, __CPANEL_HIDDEN__, ...) called at base/resetpass.cgi.pl line 945
    base::resetpass::render_password_puzzle(__CPANEL_HIDDEN__, __CPANEL_HIDDEN__, __CPANEL_HIDDEN__, __CPANEL_HIDDEN__, __CPANEL_HIDDEN__, __CPANEL_HIDDEN__) called at base/resetpass.cgi.pl line 470
    base::resetpass::script(__CPANEL_HIDDEN__) called at base/resetpass.cgi.pl line 79
If anyone has any info on this issue help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Vladimir

Hello,

Please browse to "WHM >> Tweak Settings" and review the setting for "Default Login Theme" under the "Display" tab. Ensure it's configured as "cpanel" if you want to utilize the password reset option. This is mentioned under the "Custom Themes" section of the following blog post:

Password Reset for All | cPanel Blog

Thank you.

Yeah, I had custom theme set up for login theme. I reverted to cpanel default theme and password reset page is working. Thanks a lot for the blog link and quick reply!
