    Hi,

I would like to know of there is a way to achieve the same mod_userdir effect, accessing a temporary url like: /http://host_ip/~username but while running ruid2?
Currently I am getting error 404.

You could add the IP to your hosts file on your client computer.
    eg:

    123.456.789.001 www.your_domain_name.com

this will allow you to access it normally.

    Hello :)

The Mod_UserDir method to access websites causes a conflict with the mod_ruid2 Apache module. You can actually modify the hosts file on your personal computer if you want to see if it will work with your current setup before the DNS is updated. The hosts file is documented here:

hosts (file) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Thank you.
