<username>_logs can't login via FTP

I'm unable to login via FTP using the account auto-created by WHM:

[email protected]

Upon entering the password, I receive the following error:

530 Authentication failed, sorry

I'm using the password created for main domain account user.

Are there any tricks to getting logged in using this special logs account?

Thanks for the correct usage.

Too bad cPanel incorrectly states the following on the "FTP Account Maintenance Screen". (note the "@domain" is appended to the _logs account)

When logging into the ftp server please use the username exactly as it appears below. If the username includes a "@", make sure to include it when logging in. Example: Use "[email protected]" and not "john".
