I've noticed that i now have folders in my root directory (/) which are named after each of my cpanel users.

for instance i have /user /myname /someotheruser all off the root directory...

Looked at a few of them they have a file which is the domain name and a file which is called "main"

Looking at "main" in a text editor shows addon domain configuration data

    e.g

    Code:
    ---
    addon_domains: {}

    main_domain: domain.co.uk
    parked_domains: []

    sub_domains: [

Looking at the file "domain.co.uk" in a text editor is

    Code:
    ---
    documentroot: /home/username/public_html
    group: username
    hascgi: 1
    homedir: /home/username
    ip: xx.xx.xxx.xxx
    options: ExecCGI Includes
    port: 80
    serveradmin: webmaster@domain.co.uk
    serveralias: www.domain.co.uk
    servername: domain.co.uk
    usecanonicalname: Off
    user: username
    user_phpopenbasedirhome: 1

Looks very much to me like apache configuration parmaters but how come they are now all in subdirectorys (named after the user) in the root directory makes it look a bit messy imo.

Is it supposed to be like that or has something somewhere screwed up my configuration?

That was a problem with an older version of EDGE, which you appear to running. YOu should be able to simply remove those files.

Ahh must have got left over when i tried EDGE a while back to see if apache 2.2x worked.

Went back to CURRENT shortly afterwoods.

I just wanted to check before I went in removing them.
