Username/password for first login

Hi,

I downloaded and installed cPanel using layer1.cpanel.net/latest. So now i want to log into WHM, but when i try to attempt this through http, it asks for a username and password, which i cant find anywhere.

Can someone tell me where i can find these?

Did you buy a cpanel license from someone?

If not, you can contact cpanel about a trial license.

uhm, im starting to feel really stupid now, but i still dont have the username/password

I went to the store and ordered a trial lincense, got an email, clicked the link and got told the lincense was activated. But there was no mention of a username/password anywhere.

It's the root login from your linux.
