Did you restart everything yet, CPanel related?
As root from the shell, first kill portsentry...
\"killall -9 portsentry\"
and then
/etc/rc.d/init.d/cpanel3 restart .....
Any better? You can restart portsentry with
/etc/rc.d/init.d/portsentry restart , if you want to revive that. Otherwise your license is probably busted or a chunk of the CPanel frontend directory is gone.
Run this from the shell:
/usr/local/cpanel/cpanel
any errors?
If so try /scripts/upcp to restore the layer 2 which includes the CPanel user frontend and all of the pertinent HTTP interfaces.
Good luck.
