Using FTP

    how do I use ftp and upload the html file in the index on the server into the public_html folder?

    This is a forum for server administrators. Your question is more related to web hosting. I doubt you will find answers here. It's probably not even a question you should be addressing to your web host since it's not their problem to teach you how to use basic tools.     Please note: That is geared towards the FTP client application called cuteFTP. However, most client application work in a similar way.

    Otherwise, you can use the "filemanager" located in your cPanel account. For more information about the "file manager", please see;
