    I am almost done moving 65 sites to a new server.. several sites have shopping carts run by a cgi script.

    The old server the call to the cart was:

    the cpanel server needs that to look like:

    The hosting company said I should use a script alias but wasnt a whole lot more helpful than that. I did some googling and that didn;t have any lights going off as to how this was going to help me..

    Looking at some error logs I see plenty of requests to the old path - translated to lost sales.

    I thought maybe a simple symlink
    /home/account/public_html/cgibin -> /home/account/public_html/cgibin
    would do the trick.. but I;m not sure

    Another thought was to actually set up the cart in both cgibin and cgi-bin for a short period until it stops showing the the error logs so frequently.. Testing that theory that did work.. and will suffice for the time being but would like a better way to do this
