I can see a lot of VIM files on the server but the command
vim or gvim does not work at all.

I have a few clients that would like to use VIM and as I understand
it's the same thing as VI or other text editors.
    But how do I use/installe it ?

Assuming Linux and that you have root access to WHM then try installing the VIM rpm.

    Go on, have a guess
Are you sure that you don't have VIM installed? It usually is in favour of VI these days. Just type in vi and see if it announces itself as VIM or as VI

I thought VI and VIM was different commands so I didn't test that.
I did find VIM in RPM and installed it.

    Thanks!
