Using Wildcard SSL to secure WHM/Cpanel/Webmail?

Hello,

I remebered seeing somewhere on this forum that a wildcard SSL can not be used to secure WHM/Cpanel/Webmail yet. Is it still the case? Or there might be a workaround?
