I'm brand new to all of this html and web stuff, but feeling my way through. My hats off to all of you that are good at it. Enjoying learning it, but sometimes I want to beat my head against the wall. I set up the start of a site, but have noticed that whenever anyone enters "http://www.eklipsenterprises.com" in the address bar, the site cannot be found. But if they just enter "http://eklipsenterprises.com" the site comes right up. What have I done wrong and how can I fix it? Please help. TIA.

    htaccess?

I just edited the .htaccess file to read "www.eklipsenterprises.com". Worked, but does anyone know if that was the correct fix?:)

    hi

Check DNS settings of your domain, there should be record like:

    www 14400 IN CNAME yourdomain.com.

You need to check two things for your domain to work it with www as well.

First check the virtual host entry for your domain in Apache conf file.

    Second check the file

and under the above file following line need to be present if not then add it

and problem still exist then let me know are you facing the problem with the one page or domain wide for all files?
