    What is this?

    I ran rkhunter and this has showed up on my server.

    /usr/bin/kill (bad)

    Ok freebsd "kill" is an internal command, not a seperate binary. Check with others using your OS and version. Whats the date and time of the file ?

    This server is running the latest CentOs if that matters.

    I am not saying you are wrong and I have gotten the script. Just want to make sure there may not be a more underlying issue then just that.

    Since this has happened on a few boxes I think it would be strange that there was a major issue.

    darkkouta, thanks. that fixed kill (bad) on my CentOS 4.4 box running rkhunter 1.2.9.
