What is this process? Lately, the Server Load on one of my servers starts going through the roof and services start failng. When i look at current cpu processes in whm, i see 2 o3 instances of :
    /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd-DSSL
using a lot of resources. I think this has something to do with shell acces, but i'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

shell access huh ?? humm ... don't think so. How about apache serving some files to visitors. the HTTPD kinda gives that one away. :D

That it is httpd is obvious but less than 30 connections shouldn't overload a cpu.

I am seeing the same thing.
