Our mysql server keep crashed and received the following errors. We have already increased open files limit but still failed.

130620 1:22:06 [ERROR] /usr/sbin/mysqld: Incorrect key file for table '/tmp/#sql_fa025_0.MYI'; try to repair it
130620 1:22:06 [ERROR] Got an error from unknown thread, /home/rpmbuild/rpm-build/BUILD/mysql-5.5.31/mysql-5.5.31/storage/myisam/mi_write.c:226

    /tmp space is available.

    Any idea?

    Hello :)

This typically happens when there is not enough space in the /tmp partition to handle the temporary MySQL files. The following post provides a guide on how to change the MySQL tmp location to resolve this issue:

    Updating MySQL tmp directory

    Thank you.
