Validation for transport “rsync” failed: Could not upload test file: child exited with code 1

I'm getting the following error while validating the rsync via incremental backup.
It is enabled but failed to validate.
When I force run the backup, the folder is created in the remote destination (ssh) but files are not created. But the backup is created with all the files in the main server.

Only option atm. is to either use a rsync storage provider with full access or mount the remote storage as a local volume and backup to that.
We recommend the first - probably in combination with JetBackup.
