I am having major problems with the smtp server not working. This has been going on for several days due to updates from cPanel. I have run the reseteximtodefaults scripts a few times and I have followed the instructions to update cpanel found in the forums. Both will work for a short period of time, then the problems come back. No users are able to recieve any email, nor can any PHP site send email.

What can I do to fix this permanently?

Now, I have another problem, as well. My 4GB var partition is full and will not let me do any more updates.

What can I safely delete from this partition?

    Thanks for the help,
    Eddie L. Seelke

I would check the size of your logs. These are usually the first things that fill up.

That's ok. Even though this was resolved long ago, I still appreciate anyone willing to take time to answer. :)
