The upgrade may be performed at any time; the right time is dependent upon your own preference and business requirements. For some it may be when a new version reaches a specific build tree, such as STABLE, RELEASE, or CURRENT, while others may prefer to upgrade immediately upon availability regardless of the build tree. If the specific needs of your business require the utmost caution and stability then I would consider using the STABLE or RELEASE build tree and ensure automatic updates are enabled to receive new versions automatically, including any applicable bug fixes, new features, and feature enhancements.

WHM may be used to select the desired build tree appropriate for your business needs as well as ensuring automatic updates are enabled:
WHM: Main >> Server Configuration >> Update Preferences (Update Config)

My current upgrade preference is Stable build. I was hoping for some users to comment who may have already tried the Release build of 11.25 so that I can take a decision accordingly.

    I second that.

Stick with Stable. Release is a bit of a mess right now.

The log rotation problem is a real pain across the board with all my customers on all types of systems. Only if you have some busy Apache action on sites. Busy sites are hitting loads of 90 on the server at times, if the log rotation is enabled.

If the sites on a server has little traffic, it's not a bad idea.

As per the official cPanel Change Log there have been numerous additional refinements and applicable fixes for cPanel 11.25.

For information specific to the RELEASE build tree, I recommend the following resource from the change log:

The two threads were merged because they both ask for user opinions and experiences with cPanel version 11.25; however, as of late (and after the original thread was created), as indicated in the official change log there have been additional fixes to alleviate issues that were reported.

If any remaining difficulty is experienced it should be reported via our ticket system as this method will allow us to properly diagnose and investigate the issue and escalate, where needed, to ensure an accurate resolution.

I noticed the changelog.cpanel.net isnt quite updated as fast as you release. Would it be possible to update it?

I'm running 11.25.0-C43267 when 11.25.0-CURRENT_43286 is the latest update but I see no changelog yet.

    They got Release right now.

Release version is working great now! They worked out all the kinks. I see improved reliable and performance over 11.24. We did hit a lot of speed bumps to get there, but it's ready. I would recommend the upgrade, if you are using Release version. Great job Cpanel team.

We have re-switched to release again a week ago, after the new update.
    Everything seems ok now.
