Vertex theme promoting other host

Hi,
The Vertex theme has a link to http://www.evrsoft.com/1stpage/ which is promoting another host, a number of our resellers have complained about this, as they do not see why a CPanel theme should have a link to a page that is promoting a competitor of theirs.

I see what you mean, but I don't think they did it with that intent. The link is actually for webpage building application. Unfortunatly on that page it does contain a banner ad recommending anoth hosting company.

Maybe they could make a separate page without ads for the cpanel link.

Now I do not think that a user is going to see that and immediatly jump ship to them either. If they move to a new hosting company just because of an ad, it would've been only a matter of time that they would leave anyway.

Unless a user is unhappy with their current provider, they are not apt to change just because of an ad.

Yes Kosmos you are right,

I guess I was having dreams of grandeur, with the hope that someday the Canadian dollar could be worth more than the U.S. Green Back.

Hmmmm....I tried this once when it first came out. Make sure you are running their latest build. I **think** I recall them saying they removed the link because many people complained.

You could serch the board here to follow up.

I could be wrong and have it cofused with another skin....
