*VERY URGENT* All dns zone are currupt, how to fix?!

    Hello one of my staff ran a perl script to clean the dns file /var/named/domain.tld.db and it really kut all of it, how can I restore these files, /etc/named.conf is file what do I do, dns cleanup dosnt work sync wont do anything, please help asap!

    Unless you have a backup of /etc/named.conf and the subsequent zone files, you're out of luck.

    If you do the cpanel backup you would have a copy, or maybe even the configuration file rollback. I have never done that, but that should do the trick. Otherwise the backup definitely will.

    did you tried thiss first backup your old named.conf
    /scripts/rebuildnamedconf > /etc/named.conf
