vi httpd.conf

    Hi
    I have apache problem:when i add a new account or delete an account from whm i see this error on whm:Unable to obtain apache version information. Your apache server at x.x.x.x may be down, or unreachable.
    for solve this problem i login by ssh and from: /usr/local/apache/conf i use this:
    vi httpd.conf
    :%s/BytesLog domlog/#BytesLog domlog\*/g
    :wq
    and after logout i restart apache from whm and problem will fix but when i add or delete a new user i see this problem again.
    My question: how can i fix this problem for ever? :confused:

    Make sure you have following in your httpd.conf

    LoadModule bytes_log_module libexec/mod_log_bytes.so

    AddModule mod_log_bytes.c

    And make sure the lib mod_log_bytes.so is available on your server.

    If above is fine and the problem still exists, try
    /scripts/easyapache
    And it will solve your problem.
    But dont try this if you havnt done this before and dont know how this works.
