Hi,

Not sure if anyone can help. but i had a customer tell me that when he connects via ftp he cant see any directories,

Also some could not see the cpanel login page or there own site,

Anyone know what it could be ?

Can you please check if you are able to see to directories with the same ftp detail at your end or not ?

It might be possible client's network public ip is blocked in firewall that's why he is not able to access cpanel login page or access website. If you have CSF installed then you can easily check the ip if it is blocked and remove it from firewall.

Yes i can see everything and so can he when i add his i.p to the firewall but it said he was not blocked.

Going to ask some friends to check some sites for me tody

It sounds like a firewall issue if the user is able to access FTP and their websites after adding their IP address to your firewall's allow list.

You may need to consult with the support for the firewall application you are using to determine if it's blocking connections with a specific rule or blocking specific geographical locations by default.
