cPanel will be creating an online resource for sharing 3rdparty easy apache option modules. (similar to http://lang.cpanel.net/)

We'd love to hear what modules you'd like to see ( http://modules.apache.org/ )

The poll will be expanded as it becomes clear what the most popular ones are!

I would like to see mod_cpanel which act like a proxy similar to cpanelproxy. You may start from mod_proxy, I think. Then we no longer need to ask our users open port 2083, 2087 and 2096 anymore.

PS: cpanelproxy has problem accessing and uploading files in phpMyAdmin. And probably accessing few cPanel page which need POST request.

I would like to request to have mod_auth_mysql added to the list of modules. I don't see any risks in running it. Not sure why it has not been updated yet to be honest.

Wow, Very nice. Didn't expect the request to actually work. I'm very excited to start using this myself for authenticating using the Users table in various databases.

:)

Definitely would like to see a working Django configuration for cPanel, similar to the current Rails setup. This is a major feature my customers are looking for.

I would also like to see libgdiplus support so that TreeViews and other ASP.NET 2.0 controls will stop breaking Mono. Please see this topic for more details :)

MPM-itk for Apache 2.2 is now available at easyapache.cpanel.net

Before using it please read 'Before you begin' at easyapache.cpanel.net.

You must fully understand how to use and the implications of using any opt mod befire using it.

Pleas note though that no support will given for apache issues on servers where this MPM is in use.

Liquidweb & I have contacted Dan about mod_dav svn

Add mod_dav SVN support we use it for software development and integration with mantis tools.
