Hi folks, have a quick question.
I want to run cpanel in my centos VM. Right now I have a static IP from my ISP using PPPoE. The static IP ends up on the host interface. The centos VM ethernet interface get's a private 192.168.x.x address.
As my license is related to the public IP, will giving a private IP to the instance of cpanel running on centos be ok?
The only other way to get the public IP directly on the Cpanel instance would be to either initiate the PPPoE session from the host but find a way to bridge the connection to the VM. Or find a way to launch a PPPoE session from the VM directly
What do folks running cpanel in a VPS normally do here?
