I opened a support ticket on this # 473609
But hoping I can get help here faster perhaps -
After searching I did not find the answer so ... here goes

I ordered a license via www.buycpanel.net for a vps.
The vps in question shows via License Verification - cPanel Inc. that it is licensed
however -

when we login we have the bright yellow box saying - "This copy of cPanel / WHM is a trial version and will expire at the end of the trial term. You will need to upgrade to a paid copy of cPanel / WHM to continue using the software after that term."

Code:
/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt
Updating Internal cPanel Information.....Done
is no help

We performed /scripts/upcp --force as well

Any ideas here folks ?

Howdy,

I would recommend checking for the existence of /var/cpanel/trial. If this file exists, you should remove it and run `/usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt`. If the trial banner still shows, please update with the root login details to the server.
