I have rebuilt my website using ASP and C#. Will UK2 host this kind of application and does it still insist on there being an Index.htm file?

You would need to ask UK2 about their servers' specific configurations. This is a general cPanel support forum, and while many of our partners and other users frequent this forum, it is not guaranteed that they will see your question. It would be best for you to contact them directly with this question.

I can say that, in general, mod_mono is available as a compiled-in option for Apache on cPanel servers, but it is not compiled by default. mod_mono only supports ASP.NET, not classic ASP. You will need to contact your host to ask if mod_mono is configured.
