I've recreated an account today, and the URL seems to be redirecting to a different site but for the life of me can't figure out why.

The site in question is going to be a mirror image of an existing site for dev purposes.
I've done this before, so there may be some redirect left over, from the past but i can't find it.
I checked at registrar level, nothing in Cpanel and nothing in WHM.

Any ideas, i'll keep looking but it's driving me insane.

I may have found the issue. I think it may have something to do with the way i'm copying the public_html folder.

    Hello :)

Have you reviewed the .htaccess file within the account's home directory or it's public_html directory to verify there are no custom redirect rules added?

    Thank you.

I found it late last night, it was indeed the .htaccess file.
