Web.xml - Servlet Mappng not working

Hi,
I have one issue on server, that web.xml for one user[individual web.xml for every website] is not working. servlet mapping is not working in it. Customers are trying to use it for their custom mappings of servlets in inner folders under /WEB-INF/classes. Only /servlet is working. Is there any setting to do or some tweak? Urgent solution required.
