I have "some users" on a box where webalizer is not updating logs for them. Now i tried to run the logs manually, still the logs are not updated. The last update is shown 3 months back. I checked analog and it shows the stats.

Here is the output from cpanellogd (which i modified to run under heavy load)

    ./cpanellogd_mod USER

Can any one let me know whats going wrong here ?? Even though it shows webalizer is updated, but stats don't show up inside the user control panel.

    Hi ..

First remove the webalizer.current file in the /home/username/tmp/webalizer
and then edit the file webalizer.hist in the same folder.
    If it looks like
    234 55 667 8549
    7629 890 8763 337 989
Add a " 0 0" at the end of each line (Zeroes)
    234 55 667 8549 0 0
    7629 890 8763 337 989 0 0
    And then
    run the command

    /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/webalizer -N0 -D /home/username/tmp/webalizer/dns_cache.db -R250 -p -n youdomain.com -o /home/username/tmp/webalizer yourdomian.com

    That should fix the problem

this probs appears randomly and for only a few users. anyone with a possible solution which can be implemented server wide rather on per user basis ??

k got it working. Here is the fixed version.

    /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/webalizer -N0 -D /home/username/tmp/webalizer/dns_cache.db -R250 -p -n /usr/local/apache/domlogs/youdomain.com -o /home/username/tmp/webalizer /usr/local/apache/domlogs/yourdomian.com

This after deleting the current file from the tmp folder of webalizer, made webalizer generate logs again for all months.

Cool. It would be better though if we can get a serverwide fix on this damn thing. I hate to do this for all users affected on this box.

    Anyone with a solution ???

    Ooops ....
    I forgot the
    cd /usr/local/apache/domlogs/
    :)
anyway.. I am also looking for a server wide fix....
I think the problem is because the logfiles format was different in previous versions .. no the webalizer needs a 0 0 at the end..
How about downgrading the webalizer
