Hello,

I am having a problem with webalizer. (On one domain only..) The problem is this: when I originally created the customer\'s account, my customer told me the wrong domain. It was domain.net. Then, I was told about the error, so I changed it to the correct name, domain.com . Everything in the account works fine except for the stats programs. I believe the name of the log file was not updated. So, cpanel is looking for the log file of the original domain instead of the new one. I\'ve tried to fix it by changing the log file in httpd.conf , but it did not work.

I am almost completely out of ideas on this one, and am ready to throw my monitor out the window , so if any one has any suggestions for me on this one, it would be greatly appreciated!

Have you checked his /var/cpanel/users/<user> file and the httpd.conf entry?

Yes, I checked the httpd.conf file, and changed the name of the logfile. Unfortunately that didn't work. I looked at the /usr/cpanel/users/user file, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the stats... Or maybe I just don't know what to look for.

The original domain was domain.net, and the new one is domain.com . When I load webalizer, it says "statistics for domain.net" . So, I assumed that I needed to change something in the webalizer or cpanel config to tell it to look at the correct logfile...

Also, I don't know if this matters but I also had to change this customers domain from do-main to dom-ain (he originally signed up with the hyphen in the wrong place).

Thanks!

Hello,

If one of the developers here could please email me about this webalizer problem, it would be greatly appreciated. I have spent numerous hours on this and cannot fix it. My client is getting pissed off because his stats have not worked for near 3 weeks now. (This is not the cpanel team's fault...)

I believe the problem is that webalizer is looking for the wrong log file. I do not know how you guys have this setup on the system, so I cannot fix it myself :(

Please email me - [email protected]
Thanks!
