Have you tried running /scripts/runweblogs &username& ?

More Log Failures

I have the same issue and it appears to be server wide. I checked 5 accounts and each stopped generating the logs on Oct 3, 2002 at 18:16

I'm trying /scripts/runweblogs right now ... (BTW, SilverNet just log in as root and type it in as it's shown)

It hasn't finished but this is not a great option considering you have to run it for each domain/user

Any other options or is there a switch to runweblogs that will do all of them?

Just noticed something ...

... if you check /etc/cron.daily/00webalizer and /etc/webalizer.conf you'll notice it's looking for /var/log/httpd/access_log

On my machine /var/log/httpd is empty and the access_log is located in /usr/local/apache/logs/

Anyone else with the same setup?

Do we need a symlink?

Garry, you'd need to have the host run it as the script would more than likely be setup to only be run by the root account.

I think /scripts/runlogsnow will update the logs for everyone on the server.

asuservice , when you ran /scripts/runweblogs &username& did it give you any errors?

Looked Ok

Hi Elena,
No, sure didn't and webalizer for the account I ran is up to date this morning but the analog stats as still stuck on 10-3-2002. The domlogs show current date.

I'll trying runlogsnow & see what happens.

Sometimes the problem with stats not updating happens because the server load gets too high... the stat scripts won't run if that happens.

Another thing (this is what happened to me), I changed the Custom Log directive in httpd.conf so that it would log cookies for a few clients.. turns out the logformat isn't understood by Analog (webalizer works ok with it) so Analog on my server is dead -- each account only has a blank page and it shows that there are corrupt logfile lines only. I doubt this is the problem you're having.. but it might help someone else some day :p to this date there isn't a fix for it though, total bummer.

Hmmm ...

I'm looking into that possiblity now. The runweblogs starts but doesn't get very far before it just stops. Figured it would take a while to run so I let it set ... 5 hours later no change.

Thanks for the info!
