    Horde:

    Squirell:

    IMAP and POP3 servers won't restart ..
    And they don't work either.

Just installed php-5.2.5 (I had 4.x.x before), should I compile it somehow with apache and MySQL?

Horde and Squirrelmail aren't affected by the PHP installation for Apache as they are served by cpservd rather than Apache.

If IMAP and POP3 isn't working, that would be the first thing you would want to fix.

Right but now I've got no clue where to start.
Do I have to install IMAP and POP3 ?
If then where I get them and how to install?

IMAP and POP3 are installed when you install cPanel/WHM. You may want to submit a ticket to your cPanel Licensing Provider if you aren't able to resolve this issue yourself.

MySQL was susposed to be installed automatically also but it didn't worked and I had to install it manually so I belive that IMAP and POP3 have got same problem.

That's abnormal that so many things would not be installed properly. Are you certain when you installed cPanel/WHM that you installed onto a freshly installed server with no previous server software installed upon it? Also, ensure that the server is running a supported distribution of Linux or FreeBSD:

    Yeah

I made format right before installation of cPanel.

    Supported Operating Systems:
    i386 Architecture:
    SuSE® 10.0

Could you provide me links to download and install IMAP and POP3 for SUSE linux enterprise 10.0 please?

When you installed SuSE, did you ensure that no server software was installed during the installation process? Just because you formatted the server prior to installing SuSE doesn't mean that SuSE would automatically not install such software.

If you did have server software installed, re-install SuSE without the server software and attempt the cPanel/WHM installation again.

If you did not have any server software installed during the SuSE installation process or after installing SuSE, please submit a support ticket to your licensing provider so they can determine the cause of this issue.

I've been trying every possible way .. clean install without any kind of software and it still doesnt work.. first thing it seems to be failing at is apt-libs package
it installs apt4suse and says it's installed and fine and then gets to apt-libs, won't install it and then goes ahead.
After that in logs comes 3 errors, MySQL, IMAP and SendMail.
Then it completes but IMAP, MySQL and POP3 won't work.

I bought my cPanel from this site "cpanel.net" so I suspose when I send ticket then you would still get it.

I've also tried to install apt-libs package manually but it says that it needs libstdc++ then libstdc tells me it needs libst or something like that and then libst tells me it needs something else etc. so it's endless installation of that package like that in manual way.

You are correct. Note if you submit the ticket via your cPanel Store account at http://www.cPanel.net/store by going to the Contact Us menu and selecting Submit a Support Request, your ticket will be flagged to receive priority support so response times will be much better for support issues :).

Check the error logs in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log to see what precisely is causing this issue.

Common troubleshooting steps for this situation:

    1. Login as root via SSH and enter the following command: /scripts/checkperlmodules

    2. If that does not work, try the following command via SSH as root: /scripts/upcp --force
