Webmail log in broke

    I get a page not found error using domain.com/webmail or 2095 or 2096 but if I go to cpanel click on manage accounts and then read webmail I can get access.

    Nothing I have tried is working restarted cpanel ran scripts/fixwebmail /scripts/updatenow /scripts/upcp /scripts fixeverything etc etc.

    There has been no new software like a firewall added etc...

    Anyone got an idea??

    Make sure that you have a trailing slash after webmail unless you've modified the script alias in your apache config.

    Hope you get a better answer from cpanel support than I have.

    So far I have been told to try it with www infront :eek:

    and ask to run scripts/fixeverthing again.

    Of course none of that works so now they ignore me.

    I'd like to request that they change the name of /scripts/fixeverything to something else. Too many fools actually do run it for any little problem.

    Have any of you tried restarting the webmail daemon?

    killall -9 webmaild

    /usr/local/cpanel/webmaild &

    edit /etc/cpupdate.conf
    make sure CPANEL=stable
    /scripts/updatenow
    /scripts/updatenow
    /scripts/updatenow
    /scripts/fixwebmail
    /scripts/upcp
    /usr/local/cpanel/startup

    Yep ran all that still would not work so I just did a hard reboot (been waiting till later tonight to try that all day).

    Came back up and it works now.

    I have no idea still why it would not start or what brought it down to start with.

    Stange stuff.

    Probably has something to do with stunnel or an incorrect config on your box.
