Webmail not working for One Account

    Hi,

    A few days ago, we were facing excessive spam from one of our hosted sub-domains. This company is a commercial trading entity and does not have specialized people to maintain their computer network. However, due to excessive spam, we changed the password for the specific email account, and also enabled / configured cpHulk to auto block excessive failed logins.

    A couple of days ago, the customer confirmed that they had installed a registered version of Kaspersky and were requesting that we enable the login to that email ID. We asked them to change the password, which they did, and are now successfully using that account to send / receive emails using their Email client.

    However, the webmail feature is not working for them. Whenever they click on any of the 3 options (Horde, roundcube and Squirrel Mail) it says that the username / password is not valid. What could be wrong?

    Hello,

    For Roundcube, could you attempt to log into the user's account in webmail > Roundcube, then view the error log for it?

    tail -fn0 /var/cpanel/roundcube/log/errors
    Please post the error(s) seen when viewing the error log for Roundcube.
