hehehe - I know it's not the answer you are looking for... but I use both, setup as IMAP.

This means that every email I get is stored (and kept) on my server, so if I'm out on the road or something, I can go into Horde and get my emails - even if I've got them on my PC at home.

Personally though I think Outlook is easier to use all round than loading each page for every email - once it's downloaded you could then view (even offline) - but again, I like both.

    I rarely use webmail.

    My email usage:

    1. Use server side filtering and message rules
    2. Setup all email clients to use IMAP
    3. Configure email clients to store Sent, Trash and Draft messages on Server (requires extra rule setup in Outlook 2003 and older, not sure about Outlook 2007)

    The above gives me:

    1. Access to all mail, no matter where I am at, including the times I have to use webmail
    2. No need to duplicate mail filtering/rules on multiple clients

I'm somewhere in between Darren and Kenneth. IMAP is the ticket though for sure. I hate webmail and rarely use it, but it's nice to have my mail available that way when I have no other choice.
