    Hello,
Is there any way of running webmail outside of CPanel?

I have a client who doesnt want his own client to have full access to the control panel only webmail. He is using CPanel to admin the domain for them

Or possibly a multi level log in into CPanel would do it?

    Any ideas anyone?

    Thanks

    Robbie

domain.com/webmail/ should work? It does for us anyways.

    Thanks that works!

One question thought when it prompts for a username and password thats not the CPanel username/pass? but the email account name and pass?

    4web-space,

You may need to correct the Alias in httpd.conf for webmail

    try domain.com/webmail/

The login is cpanel-username or pop-email-account. Because cpanel-username is also a pop account. However cpanel-username is WITHOUT @domain... whereas the pop-email-account is full email address :)

Okay just to be really dumb

Added that to the top of httpd.conf and restarted no luck
    Alias /webmail/ /usr/local/cpanel/base/neomail/

Do i have to manually add it to each virtual host instead?

Does this have to be done everytime or can i put this somewhere where it will be replicated?

    Thanks

    Robbie

You'll need this in your apache config file -- one for the entire file should do it!

    ScriptAliasMatch /webmail/(.*) /usr/local/cpanel/base/wredirect.cgi
