Anyone know how to prevent your users from changing their email passwords, forwarders and auto-responders?

    Dear warwickhunt,

This you can do it by removing the corresponding plugins by executing conf.pl. You can also use third party software tools like Webmail Spy to prevent users from changing their email passwords, forwarders and auto-responders etc..

    Regards,

    Thank you . . .but, being a bit of a newbie . .

    I could really use a prod in the direction of conf.pl . . . . being a bit new . . .

MANY thanks for your help though, greatly appreciated.

Stupid Newbie Solution. . but it works

I changed the permissions to prevent them being executed on the files:

    webmailpassword.cgi
    webmailautoresponder.cgi
    webmailforward.cgi

(names might not be exactly correct) . . this seems to have acheived an inelegant solution
