webmail problem - urgent...

    hi all

    So here it comes, i have a webmail error while logging int osquirlmail or horde,


    Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to localhost:143 in /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/squirrelmail/plugins/login_auth/functions.php on line 129

    what should i do ?

    Please someone asnwers me and help me sort this error out.

    hi,
    could be a problem with IMAP, try restarting this service from SSH or Root WHM, and see if it works for you.

    Well, the obvious solution is the one mohit mentioned. Have you tried restarting imap?

    Just weighing in.

    this solution worked for me when I had the same issue.

    restarted imap and the problem was resolved.
