webmail problems

    I ggot these errors when i tried to connect to my webmail scripts on my dedicated server? How can i solve the problem?

    well its not that bad from what I found searching these forums

    I done this via ssh


    /scripts/mailperm

    Looks like some chmod'ing and chown'ing is necessary.

    still same problems

    tried to chown but still same problem

    any idea?

    look permissions of /tmp

    or do

    chmod 0777 /tmp
    chmod +t /tmp

    restart mysql and httpd

    u r done :)

    I had a similar problem with Horde. I noticed that the horde.log in /tmp was not owned by cpanel, but root.

    I chowned that and it got rid of the errors. Hope that helps someone.

    (like maybe me later when i forget what I did to fix it)
