I have recently registered a domain (http://rem.org) from http://www.1337gamer.com. I bought it monday, straight after i recieved an email stateing i have purchased the domain, and 10 gigs of webspace in part of http://www.1337gamer.com's 31337 plan.

I am in cpanel fine, all the things work (currently on cPanelx8). The only problem i am having is connecting to my site. I have gotten word back from the http://www.1337gamer.com's owner state'ing i would have to change my "ns" server. How would i be able to do this in Cpanel x 8?

If you look at their site (http://www.1337gamer.com/index.php?show=packages) it tells you what you need to know

You'll have to go to the registrar where you got your domain name from and update the name server to

    ns1.1337gamer.net and
    ns2.1337gamer.net

Then sit it out for a few days while it propogates throughout the net :)

Ahh well if you registered it with them, then you most likely don't need to worry about it as they probably insert their own name servers when you buy the domain (most hosting companies that sell domains/hosting together usually do)

If that's the case then just wait it out - takes a few days for it to work :)

Looking at rem.org now, it appears that there is something there though - I assume that is you

contact the people you bought it from

it appears they let you purchase a domain that was already registered

No one here can help you - contact the people you bought the domain and hosting from
