Ive got a weird problem with a domain on one of my servers.

It has an osCommerce install running in it and it all works fine except for one thing.

the client has a folder called /icons directly under public_html which when viewed via ftp has the correct files in it but when viewed by a browser shows the contents of what appears to be the /usr/local/apache/icons/ folder.

Ive deleted and recreated the files and the folder and nothing changed

Ive checked the permissions and the ownership of the files and the folder and they appear to be correct and there is no .htaccess file to screw things up unyet this still is a problem.

One thing i have noticed is that if i view the site via a servername/~username combo the correct files show up.

    anyone have any suggestions???

It's because of an Alias /icons/ "/usr/local/apache/icons/" line in httpd.conf. You'll probably notice the same with manual.
