    I am having a strange problem, On My Cpanel Box

    All domains for eg.

    mail.1stdomain.com
    mail.2nd domain.com
    mail.3rddomain.com

    all these when i put it in In the browser it goes to a specific site which is on my server, also, the same site on all domains.

    say if i go to mail.1stdomain.com it takes me automatically to www.specificsite.com

    It may be possible that the forwarding website is having a dedicated IP address and you are using that dedicated IP address as a mail A record for your domains. Please check if it is like that.

    all these subdomains that you take on the browser is going to the same ip, and this ip is the ip for www.specificsite.com at apache. ie.. www.specificsite.com has the IP address for mail.1stdomain.com and is the first entry for this ip at httpd.conf.

    Solution will be to paste something like this at apache config above the virtualhost entry of www.specificsite.com and restart apache.

    <VirtualHost IP:80>
    ServerName SERVERNAME
    DocumentRoot /usr/local/apache/htdocs
    </VirtualHost>
    ---------------------------------------------------

    where IP is the IP in question and SERVERNAME is your server hostname.

    you will need to login to the server via ssh, and use editors such as "vi" or "pico". you can get details regarding this with a simple search @ google.
