Weird FTP upload problems

A couple of my clients have commented in the last couple of days that they have been having ftp uploading problems.

At certain times of the day they report they can access directories fine but every time they try to transfer, the files
stall.

Both they and i have tried different FTP programs and the file manager on the server with no success.

At the times this has been happening there has been no issues on the server or routing issues, and its at times of the day when the server is not at its bussiest.

any ideas as to what the cause of this could be???

using proftp ? I have clients who have same issues

Um yeah i am actually...

I guess i will just have to switch to pureftp until this bug whatever it is is found and fixed
